I’m not saying don't use it I love a good productivity hack as much as anyone but we have to be smart. If you're an educator or a professional, you can't just treat this like a toy.

My advice? If you’re going to dive in:

  • Use the Sandbox: Never run OpenClaw with "off" or "none" sandboxing. Set it to non-main or all so it runs inside a Docker container. It adds a bit of latency, but it's worth it.
  • Curate the Memory: OpenClaw stores what it learns in plain text files on your disk. Open those files occasionally. If the agent has "learned" something weird or sensitive, just delete that line.
